Psychological Therapy

If you’re searching for a local psychotherapist—someone who helps people overcome unwanted patterns of thinking, feeling, or behaviour—it’s important to know that therapists come from all walks of life.

That’s why I’d like to share a little about Mindset Clinical Hypnotherapy & BWRT®, and my journey.

Over the last 15 years I have studied a wide range of Hypnosis based Hypnotherapy techniques and more recently, Brain Working Recursive Therapy (BWRT), that is based around more modern neuroscience and our understanding of how the brain functions.

Today I am a professionally trained, qualified, professionally insured, Registered Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapist and Registered Advanced BWRT® Practitioner,

I combine these theraputic approaches to offer practical, compassionate support tailored to each client’s unique needs.

Qualifications:

Diploma in Professional Hypnotherapy – Royal Berkshire College of Clinical Hypnosis.

Registered Advanced Practitioner BWRT Level 1 – General Psychopathology.

Registered Advanced Practitioner BWRT Level 2 – Psychology of Identity and Behaviour

WSN Plus Parts Therapist

Advanced Practitioner in Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique

Background:

I originally started my practice part-time in Sandhurst. Later, I moved to the village of Tongham, just north of the A31 Hogs Back, to continue working as a fully trained local Psychotherapist.

My full-time consulting room and office is now based at Coltwood House in Runfold. It’s a convenient and professional setting with:

  • A welcoming waiting room

  • Toilet facilities

  • Free parking

  • Easy access from the A31, M3, and A331

This makes it an ideal location for clients across the region.

Careers:

Before retraining as a psychotherapist, I spent over 25 years in sales and marketing, working within the medical and electronics industries. That experience helped me build strong communication and people skills—an essential part of my work today.

I chose a career in psychotherapy because I am naturally empathetic and with my training and life skills, simply enjoy helping others, either to navigate, or to recover from this complex journey of emotional experiences that all of us are on.

For me, assisting Clients in ridding  themselves of addictions or Unwanted Thinking, Functioning and/or Behaviour, or to simply assist in providing relief for stress & anxiety, raising their low self esteem to where it should be, or building self confidence and belief for an up and coming exam or event in their life, can be tremendously rewarding

If you’re looking to make positive changes, I’d love to support you on that journey toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.

Professional Association & Standards:

I am bound by an ethical code of conduct and confidentiality as an accredited member of the following professional associations:-

Liability Insurance and a GDPR Compliance are also a prerequisite of my Association Membership, details of both can be found on the Mindset Resources page.
